SDSHP recognizes and understands the importance of ensuring the wellbeing of the pharmacists who dedicate themselves to their patients and the profession on a daily basis. In an effort to increase awareness and support for the treatment of the mental health and substance use disorders of our healthcare colleagues, SDSHP is proud to welcome Dr. Adam Hill to South Dakota for our keynote address! Dr. Adam Hill, MD, a pediatric palliative care physician, has openly shared his own story of depression, suicidal thoughts and alcoholism while working in the field of medicine. He joins us to share a rare and open perspective on the importance of addressing proper treatment of mental health and substance use disorders of healthcare professionals. We are excited to welcome him to South Dakota and hope to see you there!
